It's history on the rocks (or perhaps served neat) with this fascinating and entertaining journey along New Orleans' cocktail trail. We'll discover a number of classic drinks, concocted in historic New Orleans bars and served up by master mixologists. Prepare to imbibe local creations like the Sazerac (the city's official cocktail), the Grasshopper, and the Ramos Gin Fizz, but don't be suprised to fall under the seductive spell of European absinthe or a perfect Pimm's Cup.
The fun is also to be found in the stories of the people and places that gave rise to these delicious libations. We'll serve up the real history, with a dash of bitters. This walking tour will last approximately 2 to 2.5 hours (or longer), with four stops guaranteed. Drinks may be purchased at each stop. Escort back to hotel offered.
